The WBAI Local Station Board election is moving forward. The injunction that delayed the vote count has been lifted by the court. A new Election Close Date has been set for February 23, 2008.
If you already mailed your ballot, from October 2007 to the present, your vote WILL be counted. If you still have your ballot, but have not yet mailed it, now is the time to do so.
If between September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2007 you made a contribution of at least $25 or 3 hours volunteer work for WBAI,or received a membership waiver for the 2007 election, you are entitled to vote.
If you need a replacement ballot, please contact the election supervisor BEFORE February 15th. To request a new ballot, please send an email to voteWBAI AT gmail.com with "WBAI ballot" in the subject line, and include your name and address. If you do not have email access, you may call 212-209-2828. When you request a replacement ballot, your old ballot will be voided.
Completed ballots must be RECEIVED by February 23rd.
